Mugen Technology

Strategically positioned Single Walled Carbon Nanotubes are embedded in the tip section of the shaft to further strengthen and enhance the Mugen Prototype's performance and durability.

The Mugen, features the fusion of Ultra Thin Ply (UTP) prepreg and satellite grade graphite fiber. UTP graphite weighing 50-70 grams per square meter is used in place of typical graphite weighing 150 grams or more. This ultimate combination lays the foundation for one of the highest performing golf shafts on the market.

The Mugen's low torque and high stiffness contrast between its tip and butt promotes the high launch/low spin characteristic highly sought after by better golfers.

Mugen Prototype

Designed for the better player, the Mugen Prototype is Harrison's newest ultra premium shaft offering and features the fusion of Ultra Thin Ply (UTP) prepreg and satellite grade carbon fiber. The Mugen Prototype offers a tighter torsional profile and promotes a lower launching trajectory than its predecessor.

The Mugen Prototype is ideally suited to complement the enhanced M.O.I. characteristics of today's uniquely shaped, oversized drivers.

Striper Tour Demo this shaft in a Nakashima Club at the Arizona Golf Company

The Striper Tour is one of the hottest shafts on the Tour. It has been used to capture over 30 top-ten finishes. Elite tour players like Rory Sabbatini and others are constantly putting this shaft in play.

The unique features of Striper Tour are its playability and accuracy. The Striper Tour has a torque rating of 3.0, however, its tip to butt torque contrast promotes a higher launch angle with less spin, characteristics usually sought by better golfers. The low tip torque of this shaft also leads to one of the tightest shot dispersion on the market.

Impulse TR

Previously available only to PGA, Nationwide and Champions Tour players, and utilized by many of the top 20 players in the world, The Harrison Impulse TR has been released to the public. Designed to meet the demands of the better player, the Impulse TR is widely acclaimed as the "best feeling" hybrid shaft on Tour. The Impulse TR features Harrison's patented Inlay-Titanium Matrix technology promoting optimal launch and spin conditions designed to replace more difficult to hit long irons for the discriminating player.

Vibe

The Vibe shaft is specifically designed for golfers looking for consistency and stability, with an eye on value. Using high modulus technology it offers all levels of players a mid flex, moderate torque valued shaft promoting a softer, forgiving feel while helping to optimize launch and spin conditions.

PGA's Hottest Player Brings Harrison First Win of 2006 (2/20/06)

Relying on the superior performance of his Harrison Pro 2.5 and Impulse Hybrid shafts, Rory Sabbatini, the PGA Tour's leading money winner, walked away from the Riviera Country Club as the champion of the Nissan Open. With grace under pressure Sabbatini averaged almost 300 yards per drive with his Harrison Pro 2.5 shaft and finished 13-under-271 to take the trophy

Sabbatini plays the Harrison Pro 2.5 Shaft in his driver and the Harrison Impulse Hybrid Shaft in his 19 degree hybrid. Both shafts are designed and manufactured from the best in graphite, titanium and boron materials in the world. Technologically superior and eye-catching in appearance, all of Harrison's shafts have become increasingly popular among the professionals on the Tour.

The Pro 2.5 is one of our most popular shafts on the Tour. Rory Sabbatini used it to win the 2006 Nissan Open. It has been used to score over 200 top tens on the PGA Tour and 7 World Long Drive championships wins.

It has one of the lowest overall torques in Harrison’s collection. The Pro 2.5 is ideally suited for the 460cc driver that is so popular today. Its mid launch angle remains the most popular flight characteristics sought after today.

A logical contrast to the popular stiff tip design, the Pro 2.5’s high performance construction fused with a mid tip stiffness to make it easier to get the ball air borne is an ideal shaft for golfers who seek a high degree of accuracy and playability.

Impulse

Fairway & Hybrid

The Impulse shaft is specifically designed for fairway woods and hybrids. It is made for players who seek a higher launch angle with a low spin rate. The fairway wood shaft features a .335 tip with a 75g weight and a 3.5 degree torque rating. The hybrid shaft has a .370 tip with an 85g weight and a 2.5 degree torque rating. This shaft features our patented Inlay-Titanium Matrix to promote stability and to reduce shaft twisting for higher accuracy.

Striper J Titanium

The Striper J Titanium is intended to produce a strong kick action upon impact. It features integrated titanium filaments to generate a faster recovery. On down swing, the shaft behaves like a crossbow pulled taut to release a strong kick action at impact, therefore increases club head speed.

Most soft tip shafts suffer from erratic shot dispersion. The tip section of Striper J is augmented with super low-torque graphite to provide a high degree of accuracy. No wonder, in its debut week on the tour, the Striper J was used to win the Toshiba Senior Classic.

Striper Titanium has similar properties to the legendary Pro 2.5 Titanium. Its integrated titanium filaments help the shaft recover quickly to reduce shaft lead and lag. The Striper Titanium’s mid torque rating offers a timing advantage that is more suitable for an average golfer.

Capri

The Capri shaft is designed for the discriminating lady golfer looking to enhance her launch characteristics. The lower flex point and softer tip design help to improve trajectory and distance.

The Difference Between a Harrison Shaft and an OEM Shaft is Significant

One of the byproducts of our long-standing demo day program has been the realization that many golfers are quick to blame themselves for problems caused by either misfitted golf clubs or inferior equipment.

In our demonstrations, we provide drivers that are made to the same loft, lie, length and head weight. Each demo driver has a different Harrison shaft in it. First, we will ask the golfer to hit his driver. After analyzing his swing, we will then fit the player with a properly selected Harrison shaft.

The average yardage gained typically exceeds 20 yards.

Over the last 5 years, we have performed this demonstration in the annual PGA Merchandise Show. In addition, we conduct our demo day activities year round and worldwide. By now, tens of thousands of golfers worldwide have either witnessed the superior performance of a Harrison or have been satisfactorily fitted by us.

This phenomenon demonstrates how significant the performance difference is with a properly fitted Harrison shaft.
